SUMMERSIDE – Three games were played in the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League over the weekend, and three different teams emerged victorious.

Saturday night, the first-place Sherwood-Parkdale Metros downed the Southside Lynx 7-2 while the North River Flames outlasted the Summerside Cover-All Construction Crunch 7-5. In Friday’s lone game, the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces trimmed the Crunch 10-1.

Metros 7 Lynx 2
At the South Shore Actiplex in Crapaud, the Metros jumped out to period leads of 2-0 and 6-1.
Seven different players – Shawn Corney (1-2), Will Levasseur (1-1), Nick Brown (1-1), Derian Johnson, Logan Toole, Marc Cummiskey and Jonathan Gormley – scored for the Metros, who improved to 13-2-0 (won-lost-overtime losses).
Daniel Collister and Nick Vandervelden countered for the Lynx (4-8-2).
Winning goaltender James Duffy finished with 19 saves.

Flames 7 Crunch 5
At the APM Centre in Cornwall, Connor Andrews had three goals and three helpers for a six-point effort to lead the Flames (4-10-1). Drew Nelson, Connor Gauthier, Ethan MacFadyen and Matt Lank all had a goal and an assist to round out North River’s scoring.
Kolton Stright (2-1), Brandon Hastings (2-1) and Monty Desreux answered for the Crunch (5-9-0).
The Flames held period leads of 4-2 and 5-4.
Ryan Clory made 28 saves in recording the goaltending win.

Aces 10 Crunch 1
At The Plex in Slemon Park, Brayden Arsenault picked up two goals and three assists while Ryan Campbell netted a brace and added two helpers in leading the Aces (10-4-0).
Dawson Sellick (1-3), Colton Chaisson (1-2), Curklan Fraser (1-1) and Lexin Gaudet (1-1) also scored for Tignish, which received a 17-save effort from goaltender Koby Bridges.
Connor Jones netted Summerside’s lone goal.
Period scores were 2-1 and 6-1 in favour of Tignish.
