WOLFVILLE, N.S. – Lauren Jodrey scored the winner in the 31st minute Saturday as the host Acadia Axemen shut out the UPEI Panthers 2-0 in Atlantic University Sport women’s soccer action.

Jayden Boudreau from Holly Buckler rounded out the scoring in the 86th minute.

Spencer Skinner made three saves for the clean sheet while Amanda Stanyer stopped eight of 10 shots in the loss.

Acadia improved to 10-0-1 while UPEI was 2-5-3 before playing at Dalhousie Sunday afternoon.
