I had a personal experience yesterday of a confirmation that there are very good, honest people in the world, and I am grateful. I was at Walmart copying pictures from my iPad and upon leaving the store, I absentmindedly left my iPad in the shopping cart at the exit door. Later that evening at home, much to my horror, I discovered my awful boo-boo, and was sick all over.
I phoned the Walmart store, relayed my story, described the iPad, and they informed me that, yes, someone had turned it in and I could pick it up at the courtesy counter.
I was tremendously relieved, as a great deal of my personal material is on that iPad. I went straight to the store to retrieve it, and upon inquiring, discovered that a customer had found it and turned it in, but did not leave a name. I write this letter to express a huge ‘thank you’ to that good, honest person, whoever you are, that found it and turned it in, and to the staff at Walmart for holding it for me until I arrived.
I am so grateful for your huge honest act of kindness. Bless you and thank you.
