I am really getting a concerned about people who are always going on about their “rights”. This current batch of the “rights” people have surfaced during this COVID-19 situation that we are all in. These days have been very trying and difficult for all Islanders and thanks to the measures that have been taken by the people who give us these rules and advice, it looks like it is working.

These rules were made for all Islanders and people who are returning to the Island. I really think that those people who are claiming that their “rights” are different than everybody else. These times are different, we have never been through this.

With rights there is also something called responsibilities that must not be forgotten in the process. Just because things might be inconvenient for these “rights” people who don't like the rules, please don’t be selfish. Follow the rules, whether it’s social distancing, self isolation when you return from an off-Island trip or whatever it might be that they don't like.

We are on the right track with what we are doing, and I think that should keep it up. Save the “rights” argument when it really applies. This is not the time.
