EDITOR:
In reference to your recent editorial on the people of Three Rivers, P.E.I., I may have a suggestion for some nomenclature to describe the people of that area. I was born in Three Rivers (Trois-Rivières), Que. As a native of that city, I am called a Trifluvian (French masculine Trifluvien, feminine Trifluvienne). I’ve always found that people are intrigued by our rather exotic Latinate description as Trifluvians. For more information Google “Trifluvian.”
