STORY CONTINUES BELOW THESE SALTWIRE VIDEOS
I wish to share thoughts about a book launch I attended in Charlottetown in October. The book, titled Broken Crayons, speaks volumes about kindness and sharing what one has, with many who do not have. It shows the caring of one Island teacher, going to Kenya to complete her international teaching practicum. The gifts she brought to the class she was teaching, educated her and she carried in her heart all she learned from the children home to P.E.I. I appreciate our Island authors.
With Family Literacy Day on Jan. 27, it would be nice to put a book by an Island author in the hands of as many children as possible.
