I believe all seniors should be getting a universal guaranteed income of at least $2,000 monthly for those over 65 years of age to keep up with inflation and fairness for them in their later years in life.

I think the Justin Trudeau Liberal gang should show leadership on this issue. A country should be judged on the way it treats its seniors in my opinion.

It's time to correct this wrong and give seniors this universal guaranteed income in this day and age by doing the right thing.

Trudeau seems to talk a lot about fairness, well where is the fairness when, to my understanding, some seniors get about $800-$900 monthly and others are getting double this amount?

Seniors deserve better than this, and for some it's not their golden years when they have to make do with a meager income. Shame on all governments not taking a stronger stand on this important issue.

Let’s have justice for all seniors starting with cash in the form of a universal guaranteed income now, not later.

Lloyd W. Pickering,
Kensington
