EDITOR:

A picture is worth a thousand words, the saying goes, and it applies perfectly to the one finger salute picture and video of the Liberal caucus in their Christmas best, (Guardian, June 6, 2018.)

The irony is, that's a true picture of exactly how Islanders feel they are being treated and regarded by the current government of P.E.I., e.g. forced rural amalgamation, s severe shortcoming in health care and education etc.

The government is giving us the finger all right; and now it is on the record.

The belated forced apologies by Richard Brown and Jordan Brown are nothing but shallow and hopefully futile attempts to appease the public enough to not be thrown out in the next election.

Reginald Walsh,

Nine Mile Creek
