Once again the legislature disappoints Islanders of all stripes. To eject an MLA who is asking questions that the Premier doesn't like is deplorable. More deplorable was the Premier's reasoning.
The quote was " ... insults the work of all these people that contributed to this and that."
Really? I recall a Premier who struck a committee, put together a plebiscite, got people engaged and informed, and then shut down the whole process because it seemed the results weren't to his liking.
Premier, you did exactly the same thing you find unparliamentary, but apparently because it was you, it's OK.
Last I looked this was still a democracy, albeit one run like a dictatorship. This Island could be so great but not if the government can't be trusted.
