In several submissions to this column I have asked the question of environmentalists and P.E.I. cabinet ministers, the peoples’ representatives: “What is P.E.I.’s share of Canada’s 1.66 per cent share of world carbon emissions? Never a forthcoming answer.
Will the people who spend the peoples’ taxes agree with the following:
“P.E.I. produces 3/1000 of Canada’s carbon emissions”?
Taking silence as agreement then I must ask, “why is it necessary to impose measures to reduce carbon emissions on the good people of P.E.I.”?
