Regarding Tuesday’s editorial in The Guardian –“Anti-abortion group crossed the line” – pregnancies happen in senior high schools, not in the legislature. You need a man and a woman to have a baby. The baby becomes part of the man and the woman. The uterus is still the woman’s, but the baby is a new identity. God is the author of that life. The #SexStrike advocated by Alyssa Milano makes perfect sense. The woman has full autonomy of her body and abstinence is good for the soul. Now, if the marriage of a man and a woman is a Godly one, then the infant has no fear of an abortion. I watched CBC P.E.I.’s Compass Tuesday night and it was a handful of students on camera and one adult that were not putting up with the anti-abortion group. The comments by them were really profound. The silent majority that are educated about abortion would not approve abortion. The U.S. high court could possibly overturn Roe vs. Wade – the 1973 landmark decision establishing a woman’s right to an abortion. Now the pro-choice would howl bloody murder, pardon the pun. Would cigarette ads that are put out by our government showing the effects of smoking on people also be considered as crossing the line?
