The government of Canada has recently modified its stance against people with the wrong view on abortion, who want to apply for a summer job grant.
In former times, public opinion and the courts held that human embryos and fetuses had some degree of human rights. Anyone who disagreed was considered fair game for stigma and discrimination.
At the present time, public opinion and the courts hold that human embryos and fetuses have no human rights. Anyone who disagrees is considered fair game for stigma and discrimination.
Times have changed? Or have they?
