The professor who complained about feminists and the sex trade argument is ignoring the obvious and posing a false dichotomy.
When there is "harm reduction" necessary, it is necessary because without it there is more harm and where there is harm, there is exploitation. It is not an either/or argument.
Men, women and children are harmed in the sex trade. In a compassionate society people recognize the need for "harm reduction" as well as the fact that sex trade relations are part of a dystopic world .
No one wants to see their family or friends involved in the sex trade yet some people insist that the sex trade is not exploitive. Of course, it is. And they well know it.
