Regarding: Charlottetown commissionaires too tempted to ticket

I have worked at the parking monitor job in Charlottetown, so I know of what I speak.

The editor fails to mention the fact that the Guardian workers make a habit of parking across from the Guardian offices all day. They only come out to throw a quarter in when they see the commissionaires coming.

So, they effectively pay maybe one dollar to park all day long. They take up spots that other paying customers could use.

They probably forgot to mention that.
