STORY CONTINUES BELOW THESE SALTWIRE VIDEOS
EDITOR:
The caption under the Amish photo in last Friday’s Guardian needs to be corrected. The people of Three Rivers, and other amalgamated communities, have been told that their communities would retain their identities, that “Georgetown will still be Georgetown,” etc.
It is, therefore, necessary for all media, including The Guardian, to respect and enforce the wishes of the residents. The caption, and all stories going forward, should merely have said, “just outside of Montague.” A printed correction, and all stories going forward, and an attention to this detail going forward must occur. Words matter . . . all of them.
