The subject of cars passing stopped school buses is in the news a lot lately; it seems to be a growing problem. My suggestion to fight this problem is to change the bus routes so that no child has to cross the road to get on a school bus. It may add a few minutes to the route, but so what? If our children are safe, that is all that matters.
No need for contemplating new equipment, doing studies or anything else. Change the routes to make them safer.
