FENNESSEY, William J. The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Thursday March 4, 2021 of William J. Fennessey of Seacow Pond aged 81 years. Beloved husband of the late Clara Joan (Hearn) Fennessey. He was born in Tignish on May 30, 1939, the son of the late James Arthur and Laurette Ann (Perry) Fennessey. Dear father to Pauline Johnson Knox (Kevin) and Brenda MacPhee (Wayne). Loving grandfather to Samantha and Shawna Johnson, Chelsey and Brittany MacPhee, great-grandfather to Anna, Terry, Clara, Jozy and Juli. He is also survived by brothers and sisters Auldina Hopcroft, Rosemarie Brennan, Percy Fennessey (Joan), Barry Fennessey (Joyce) and sister-in-law Wanda Fennessey. He was predeceased by parents James and Laurette, wife Clara, brothers Leo and Arthur, sister-in-law Joanne, brothers-in-law Gerry Hopcroft and Steve Brennan.
