Wayne was predeceased by his mom, Nellie, his dad Clarence and infant brother Emerson. Wayne leaves to mourn through his passing, his beloved wife, and soulmate of 59 years, Alice (Taylor); three loving sons and their wives; Donald, (Terri Jane), David, (Janina), and Stephen (Samantha). Also, mourning his passing are nine grandchildren; Ryan, Chad, Aleigha, McKenna, Kaylen, Olivia, Noah, Jaden and Sydney who were the light of his life and source of the magic miracles that made his heart sing every single day. He was so proud of each of them! Also, grateful for his life are his loving siblings: sister, Eloise Aldebert (Larry) and brothers; Bill (Barb), Dwight (Maxine) and Paul (Pat). Brothers- in- Law Bob Taylor (Betty) and Ken Taylor (Lynn), and many nieces and nephews who loved Uncle Wayne dearly. In his work life, mostly sales, he was a loyal, honest and energetic employee. He worked for Eaton’s in Gander, NL and Charlottetown heading sales teams. Later, working for DeBlois-Likely, also in sales, his dream came true when he became a business owner of a new company Taycan Inc. Wayne was an avid golfer in his day. Golfing out of Jumping Jack’s Rustico Course and later the Belvedere Golf Club; this was a game he truly loved. Wayne and Alice enjoyed travelling, particularly cruising. On their 50th wedding anniversary they planned the trip of a lifetime as they cruised and discovered the countries and Islands of the Pacific Rim for 69 days. Wayne was a member of Park Royal Church where he served on the Board of Stewarts, the Session as an Elder, Treasurer for 10 years, Scout Leader, and many fund raisers and committees through the years. In the community he served on several service Clubs raising money for Minor Hockey and new hockey rinks. He was a hockey organizer and coach in the Sherwood Parkdale minor hockey system. However most of all, he was a kind and gentle man with an incredible capacity for love and integrity. He welcomed people to our home and community regardless of background or beliefs. He was a man of his word who opened his wallet to those less fortunate, sponsoring kids from World Vison, 4 at a time, for 40 years, as well as being a generous supporter of other projects that support the needs of many these days.
