TIERNEY, Theresa “Josephine” At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, October 20, 2019 of Theresa “Josephine” Tierney (Trainor), New Haven, age 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Tierney. Dear mother of Theresa Hughes (Frank), Frank (Susan), David (Jill), Leo (Francie) and Maurice (Lorna). Lovingly remembered by her 22 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Sister of Joan MacDonald (Jackie), Laurana Noonan, Gabriel (Marilyn), Desmond (Freda), Bennett, Joseph (Jean), Brian (Ann) and Angela Monaghan. Mother-in-law of Moira and sister-in-law of Elaine Trainor. Predeceased by her parents Everett and Helen (Condon) Trainor and her infant twin brother, by her son Gerard, siblings Mary Miller (Robert), James P., Jeanette Clow (Ivan), Thomas, Damien and by her brothers-in-law Everett Noonan and Joe Monaghan. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Thursday at 9:30 am then to St. Anne’s Church, Emyvale for Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Interment in St. Anne’s Church Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 5-8 pm.
