BABINEAU, Teresa Anne With broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother Teresa Anne Babineau (McIntosh) at the age of 91 on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, after a sudden illness. Born at the Souris Lighthouse on February 29, 1928 of the late Francis McIntosh and Christina Anne McIntosh (Whitty). Mom was loved by everyone that met her. She was a fantastic story-teller with a great sense of humor and exceptional memory. She will be sadly missed by her children; Bonnie Dean (David) of Saint John, NB, Annette Gaudet (Norbert) of Dieppe, NB, Eddy Babineau (Debbie) of Charlottetown, PE and Phil Babineau (Simone) of Dieppe, NB. Also left to remember her are her grandchildren; Jocelyn Pierre, Marise, Danielle, Penny, Nathan, Christian and Alex; great grandchildren Caleb, Elena, Loïc, Arabella and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Alonzo, brothers Michael, Andrew, Neil, John, Rudy and Donald, sisters Lottie, Bridget, Margaret Mary, Mary Ellen, niece Minnie and daughter-in-law Elaine. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, 175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PEI for visitation Thursday 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held in the chapel at The Mount Continuing Care Community, 141 Mount Edward Rd, Charlottetown at 11 am on Friday, August 23, followed by a reception. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff and residents of The Mount for their care, friendship and love. You made the last years of her life very happy.
