SHAW, Shirley Anne With family gathered by her side, at the Prince County Hospital Palliative Care, on Thursday, September 24, 2020, Shirley Anne Shaw R.N., of Summerside, aged 84 , beloved wife of Victor, passed following a courageous battle with cancer. Shirley was born in Summerside on Oct.11, 1936 to Max and Mae (Arsenault) Gallant. Shirley leaves to mourn her passing, her husband and best friend Victor, her son Darrell (Laura), Edmonton; Malcom (Nora), Summerside; Vicki (J.P.) Sharp, Ontario; Michael (Beth) Halifax; Carl (Shelley) Lynch, Charlottetown. Her grandchildren, Jillian Wood, Kensington; Nathan (Stephanie) Sharp, Toronto; Cameron, Heather and Nicole Sharp, Ontario; Nicholas (Kayla), Lindsey and Spencer Lynch, all of Charlottetown; great grandchildren: Lexi and Rhys and Mya and Ben. She is also survived by sister Dorothy Peters, Cape Breton, brothers and sisters in law Alyne Gallant, Ottawa; Eva Ellis, Charlottetown; (Adele) Harold Moore, Charlottetown; Dorothy Shaw, Cape Wolfe and Dorothy (Harry) Bryanton, Cape Wolfe. Predeceased by her parents, sister Irene, brothers John, Louis, Alban 1 and Alban 2. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with a service on Sunday in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Mount Royal, People’s Cemetery. In memory of Shirley, memorials to Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
