Shirley Alice (nee Stewart) Maclean

The death occurred peacefully on March 21, 2018 at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, of Shirley MacLean of Stratford, P.E.I. (previously Moncton, N.B.). Born July 17, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lenore Stewart, Sea View. She was predeceased by her husband Clayton, and her brother Lea. She is remembered as a loving mother by her children, Joanne MacDonald (Mark), Stephen MacLean (Mary Newson) and Brian MacLean (Susan Cullen) and as an attentive grandmother to Dara and Charlotte MacDonald, Clay and Grace MacLean, and Michael MacLean. She will be missed by her brother Walter ‘Spud’ Stewart (Shirley), and sister Vera Fernald, as well as many nieces, nephews, sisters- and brothers-in-law, and their families. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from Zion Presbyterian Church. Interment at a later date in Brookfield Presbyterian Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined, however if so desired, memorials may be made to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre.
