Sheila DICKSON

DICKSON, Sheila Anne (King) Sheila Anne Dickson (King) of 276 Westridge Crescent, Charlottetown, P.E.I. aged 71 passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on January 11th. 2021. Born in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. She was the eldest daughter of the late Joyce (Stronach) King and Russell King. She is also survived by her husband Linden Dickson and daughters Tracey Dickson (Simeon Clarke) Magdalen Islands, QC, Candace Clory (Joshua Clory) Georgetown, P.E.I., son Sefton Dickson (Larra Villeneuve Hilton) Charlottetown, P.E.I., granddaughter Brittany Clarke Charlottetown, P.E.I. and grandsons Landon MacLean Georgetown, P.E.I., Hudson Dickson Charlottetown, P.E.I., sister Barbara King (Husband) David Smith B.C., (Nephew) Gabriel Smith B.C. She was predeceased by her grandson Joshua Clarke Magdalen Islands, Q.C. and brother Jeffrey Alan King infancy. Graduating from Trenton High School in Nova Scotia, she then enrolled at the Aberdeen Hospital School of Nursing in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. Graduating with a Registered Nursing Diploma in 1971. She continued to work at the Aberdeen Hospital briefly before moving onto other Health Care Facilities over the years. She then finished her Nursing Career at the Gillis Lodge in Eldon, Belfast, P.E.I. until retirement in 2009. Cremation has taken place by Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home. Interment will be at a later time. If anyone would like to make a donation in her memory, you can by making them to the Retinoblastoma Cancer Society, or to the Human Society. Both were very meaningful to her.
