MACDONALD, C. Ruth It is with great sadness that the family of C. Ruth MacDonald (nee Jack) announce her passing, peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on May 23, 2020 formerly of Central Bedeque, aged 84 years. Born in Bedeque on May 15, 1936. Wife of the late Herbert A. MacDonald. Daughter of the late Stanley and Stella (Nee Craig) Jack. She will rest peacefully lovingly remembered by her 3 children David MacDonald; Bedeque, Philip (Paula) MacDonald; Bedeque, and Beryl (Paul) Barlow; Kinkora. Dear Nanny to Matthew (Katie) MacDonald; Oakville ON, Brittany (Jorden) Daigle; Middleton and Rudy MacDonald; Bedeque. In her last year of life she welcomed her first great granddaughter, Lily Jane MacDonald, whom she cherished dearly and always brought a smile to her face. Lovingly remember by her sister, Goldie (late John) Smallwood and Lillian (late George) Hill and brother-in-law Ivan (Edna) MacDonald. Predeceased by her mother-in-law and father-in-law Angus and Ruby (Nee Rose) MacDonald. Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Eldon (Linda) MacDonald, Ada (Harold) Gould. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington. Due to Covid 19 restrictions no public visitation will be held. A private family service will be held on Tuesday. Interment in the Lower Bedeque Cemetery. If so desired contributions may be made to the Bedeque United Church or the Cat Action Team of PEI.
