DINGWELL, Russell Peacefully, at the Halifax Infirmary the unexpected passing of Russell Allan Dingwell age 83, husband of 5 years to Claire (Murphy) Dingwell, occurred on Saturday, January 16, 2021, surrounded by his family. Born in Marie, PE, February 6, 1937 son of the late Stanley and Gladys (Robbins) Dingwell. Survived by children, Linda (Otis) Butler, Allan (Barb) Dingwell, Barb (Arnold) Hughes, David (Colleen) Dingwell, Darren (Norma) Dingwell; step children, Shane (Debbie) Murphy, Tammy Murphy, Tim (Helen) Murphy, Kerry (Debbie) Murphy; sister, Ellen Dingwell (Heath deceased); sister-in-law Isabel Dingwell; eleven cherished grandchildren; 13 adored great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Russell was predeceased by his first wife Rena Catherine (Llewellyn) Dingwell and brother Kenneth. Russell will be forever remembered and loved by all who came to know and love him.
