Robert Laws (Bob) Cumming

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our brother Robert Laws Cumming (Bob) after a brief battle with cancer. Mourning his loss are his siblings Margaret of Winnipeg, William (wife Liz) of Morden Manitoba, Douglas of Perth Australia, Barry (wife Irene) Morden, Lynda (husband Lyle) Edmonton, Gwenneth (husband Earl) Morden, 3 nephews, 6 nieces, 8 great nephews and 1 great niece. Bob was predeceased by his father - James in 1972 and his mother - Annie in 1979. He will also be deeply missed by his many friends and work associates in Alberta, his friends in Charlottetown, and his "adopted grandkids" in Calgary. His family and his friends were very important to him throughout his life. Bob worked for over 40 years in the oil patch based out of Calgary and after retiring spent his last few years living the good life on his little piece of paradise in Charlottetown. Bob was a gentle soul who made friends easily. He was very generous and was always there to lend a hand if needed. Cremation has taken place and as per his wishes no service will be held. Interment will take place at a later time in Morden beside his parents. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your local chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Fund.
