Peggy Gallant

GALLANT, Margaretta (Peggy) Elizabeth 1926-2019 Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 of Margaretta (Peggy) Elizabeth Gallant of Stratford, Prince Edward Island. Beloved wife of the late John Anthony(Tony) Gallant and daughter of the late Parker and Helen (Austin) Lund. She is fondly remembered by her special god son Allan MacDonald and Family. She is survived by her brother Parker Lund and sister Charlotte Smith. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters Marie, Joyce, Erma, Roma, Sally, Kevin, George, Heather and Eunice. She is remembered by her many nephews and nieces especially Terri Smith, Raechal Smith and Vanessa Lund. We would like to thank the Andrews of Charlottetown staff for their many years of care and kindness to Peggy. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Monday, August 19th, then transferred to Our Lady of Assumption Church, Stratford for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery, Stratford. Visiting hours on Sunday, August 18th from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to PEI Hospice or Provincial Palliative Care.
