Paul EGAN

Paul Egan
EGAN, Paul Raymond It is with deep sadness that we announce Father Paul Egan passed away peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on September 13th, aged 78 years. Beloved Brother of Gilbert (Estelle), Janet (Doug) Shore and Judy Langille. Fr. Paul was predeceased by his parents Fred and Dolly (Gaudet) Egan, sister Lynda Barkhouse, and brothers in law Rollie Langille and Adrian Barkhouse. Loving Uncle to Paul (Carol), Sherri (Dan) Hogan, Michael (Penny), Shannon, Lori (Ryan), Nathan (Nadine), Heather (Chris), Derek, and many grand nieces and nephews. With over 52 years in the ministerial priesthood, Fr. Paul treasured the many lifelong friendships he developed at the many parishes at which he served throughout the Diocese. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington, by personal request there will be no visitation. Private funeral mass for invited guests only will be held at the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer and will be available to view online on the funeral home’s website after 3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16th. Invited guests are asked to be at the church for 10:30 a.m. A heartfelt thank you to all the healthcare professionals, friends, and neighbors for their kindness and incredible support throughout his brief illness with cancer. Fr. Paul gratefully declined the donation of flowers, but given his lifelong love of animals memorial contributions may be made to PEI Humane Society or the Cat Action Team. www.davisonfh.com
