Myrtle Marie Carruthers

The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, October 13, 2018, of Myrtle Marie Carruthers of Cornwall, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late A. Bruce Carruthers. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Marion Williams of Bideford. Myrtle is survived by her daughter, Marion Stenabaugh (Larry) and grandchildren Ivan Irwin (Tanya), Joel Stenabaugh, and Rose Dennis (Doug). She is also survived by her brother George Williams, sisters-in-law Irma Williams and Fern Carruthers, and brother-in-law Calvin Carruthers, as well as nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3 MacKinnon Dr., Stratford (behind Sobeys) on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at 2 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
