GALLANT, Matthew Joseph (Matty) 1977-2020 Matthew Joseph (Matty) Gallant The death occurred suddenly at his home in Summerside, on Monday, November 23, 2020, of Matthew Joseph (Matty) Gallant, age 43 years. Born at Alberton on November 11, 1977, he was the son of Ernest J. and Eileen M. (nee Shea) Gallant of Anglo-Tignish, PEI. Dear brother to Michelle (Joey) Perry of Airdrie, Alberta, Jessie (Shawn) Perry of St. Felix, Trudy (Colin) MacArthur of Tyne Valley, Dougie Gallant of Summerside, Jackie-Lynn Gallant (Greg MacDougall) of Tyne Valley, Trisha (Mitch) Nauss of Miscouche, and Megan (Jake) Gaudet of Tignish. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, especially his pet dogs, Ren, Chee-Chee and Loo-Loo. He was predeceased by a brother Ernest Joseph in infancy. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel Alberton. Private visitation and funeral to be held.
