Mary Grace King

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Grace King (nee Perry), of Prince Edward Home in her 99th year passed to the other side to be reunited with her loving husband Robert Joseph King. Dear mother of Tom (Agnes), Bob (Margie), Mary Johnson (deceased), Doug (deceased), Perry (deceased), Grace Williams (Richard), David (deceased), Pat, Chris (Jacquelyn), Kenny (Laurie). Grace had 24 grandchildren, 32 grand-children and 1 great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Mary Helen (Clarkin) and Robert Perry; sisters - Lily Atkins, Irene Fowler, Dot Moran and Mary Estelle; brothers - Walter, Maurice, Benny, Robbie and Raymond; sisters-in-law - Gertrude King and Della Hardman. Grace lived life to the fullest as a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a devoted teacher at Queen's Square School, St. Joseph's Convent, Rochford Square School and Prince Street School and received her BA Degree from UPEI along with her son - Chris. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at The Most Holy Redeemer, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow later at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
