Marguerite Cooper

COOPER, Marguerite Asdale "Reta" (Buell) Born January 1, 1918. Age 102 of Halifax, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020 in Saint Vincent's Nursing Home, Halifax. Born in Murray River, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Gertrude Buell. Survived by her children, Patricia Fordham, Halifax; Barry (Diane), Ontario; Cyril (Gail), Halifax; grandchildren, Kevin (Deidre), Chicago, USA; Natalie (Mark), Alberta; Craig (Karen), Prince Edward Island; Brent (Jamie), Alberta; Darren (Helen), Alberta; great-grandchildren, Devin, Davis, Liam, Nolan, Cameron, Hunter, Sophie and Madeline. Predeceased by her husband, Chester H. Cooper "Ches"; son-in-law, Arthur Fordham; grandson, Brian. While living in Halifax, Reta was a member of the Welcome Wagon, Beta Sigma Phi and Women of Rotary. She was an amateur artist and left us with lovely paintings. The last five years she resided in Saint Vincent's Nursing Home. We would like to thank the incredible staff of the 6th floor whose patience and kindness were above and beyond. Special thanks to Jessica, Cindy and Phil who befriended her and were so kind to her.
