Margaret "Blanche" (nee Campbell) Strain

Peacefully at Beach Grove Home on Friday, June 21, 2019 of Margaret "Blanche" Strain of Emyvale age 93 years. Predeceased by her husbands, Raymond Gallant, Damien Trainor, John Griffin and E.J. "Ted" Strain. Dear mother of Meredith Trainor, Myra Wolter (Randy) and Phillip Griffin (Kristin). Loving grandmother of Michael and Heather Wolter and great grandmother of Dylan Weichert. Blanche is also fondly remembered by sisters Bernice Kelly (Raymond, deceased), Marie McAulay (Frank, deceased), brother Brendan and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by parents Louis and Agatha (Monaghan) Campbell, sister Winnifred Nantes (Russell) brother Frank, infant sisters Frances and Joan. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Wednesday, June 26th, then transferred to St. Ann’s Church, Emyvale for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Ann’s Parish Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 25th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. St. Ann’s Catholic Women’s League will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (PEI Division) On-line condolences may be made at www.islandowned.ca.
