MCASSEY, Lulu Meriam At the Western Hospital Alberton on Tuesday August 4,2020 with her loving family by her side of Lulu Miriam McCassey beloved wife of Robert McAssey of Alma. Born at Elmsdale P.E.I she was the daughter of the late Merrill E. and Lottie Peral (nee Brennan) Wallace. Loving mother to Margaret, Gordon,John, Gary (Patsy) James (Ellen). Cherished grandmother to Lisa (Jason Cooke),Michael (Joni Albert), Amanda, Emily, Kelsey, Connor, Rob, Colin, Bailey, Chris (Maddie Lewis). Great grandmother to, Cemeron, Kyle, Joslyn Coughlin, Keira, Hanna, Carson DeCourcey, Laken McCassey. Great great grandmother to, Cole and Eli Coughlin. Dear sister to, Bill (Late Evelyn) Jean (Weldon) Rennie, Ida (Late Stewart) McDonald, Raymond (Sandra),Donnie (Nancy), Debbie (John) Moore, Stephen (Dary). She is also survived by brother's and sister's in law, Olive (John) Premerl, Florence (Perley) DeBeau, Judy Cheverie (Kim LaRoux) Selwyn (Cindy) McAssey. Ferne Wallace, Ethel Lee Wallace, and Gail McAssey. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces,nephews and friends. She was predeceased by brothers, Doug, Clayton, Roger, and Blair Wallace and by brother in law, Floyd McAssey. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel Alberton from where a private family visitation and graveside service will be held with Rev.Robert Lockhart officiating. Interment in the Montrose United Church Cemetery.
