GALLANT, Lester Franklin The death occurred at the Sherwood Home, Charlottetown, on Tuesday, June 30th, of Lester Franklin Gallant, cherished foster child of the late Martin and Zelie (Arsenault) Barriault formerly of Harmony Road, PEI, age 62 years. Lester was a beloved foster brother to Martina (late Joe) Arsenault of Mont-Carmel, Alphonsine (Oliver) Arsenault of Abram-Village, Victoria (late Regis Arsenault) (Maynard Ramsay) of Kelly Road, Norma (late Amand Poirier) of Shediac Cape, N.B., and Mae (Tilmon) Arsenault of Harmony Road. Lester is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, a private family viewing will be held at the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. Funeral Mass and committal service will be held at the Saint-Philippe and Saint-Jacques Church, Egmont Bay for the family only as per Covid-19 guidelines. Donations as an expression of sympathy in Lester’s memory can be made to the Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques Church Cemetery Fund.
