Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Friday, November 16, 2018, the death occurred of Kenneth MacDonald, of Charlottetown, age 86 years. Beloved husband of Helena MacDonald (nee Doherty). Loving father of Leslie MacDonald (Cathy), Barry MacDonald (Jessie) and Shirley Hoffman (Kelly). Cherished grandfather of Krista Dawn, Christopher, Lacey, Chance, Brock, Justin, Kendall, Brett and Lauren; Great-grandfather of Talin, Dreydan, Jyrnee, Erynn, Ella, Neeson, Fiona, Tage, Lukin, Julia, Lucas and Emily. Kenneth will be missed by brother - Garfield (Brenda); sisters - Edith Clow (Aden), Thelma Evans, Bertha Bruce (Blair - deceased), Bernice Matheson (Vernon), Ethel Vessey (Gordon), Arlene McEwen (Donnie) and Margaret Corney (Hessel - deceased). He was predeceased by parents - Walter and Lois (nee Jay) MacDonald; brother - Dewar MacDonald and sister-in-law Judy MacDonald. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at West Covehead Cemetery.
