Joseph Leo (Cuddy) Allen

The death occurred peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown, on Friday, October 19, 2018, of Joseph (Cuddy) Allen of North Rustico, age 72. Joseph was the son of the late John and Alice (Gallant) Allen. He is survived by his sisters, Joan Stewart (Robert Johnston), Kathleen Gallant (Robert), Gladys Blacquiere (Gerald Pustlauk), Hazel Blanchard, Howard, Rose Marie Allen (Bud Lynch), Rose Aletha Tooker; brother-in-law, Pat Brown; and nieces and nephews, Fred and Tim Tooker; Angie, Lisa and Joey Stewart; Tanya, Scott Blanchard and Christine Allen; Racheal Blacquiere and Charlene Puddy; Crystal MacRae and Chris Gallant; Cindy and Chris Brown; and Joe, Brian, Jim and Charemon Hughes. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Merrill and sister, Shirley Brown; brothers-in-law, Elmer Blanchard and Ralph Tooker. Resting at Central Queens Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 6 - 9 p.m. Celebration of Life will be held at Central Queen’s Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Stella Maris Cemetery.
