MCASKILL, John "Jackie" It is with great sadness to announce the passing of John "Jackie" McAskill in his 64th year. Left to morn, his beloved wife Susan, his proud son Lance and daughter-in-law Ariel Gogan and loving grandson Wyatt He is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by brothers and sisters, Joe (Trudi), Belinda Montigny, Della (Heartz) Godkin,Barron (Sherlynn),Brendon (Mary), Michelle Collings (Mike), sister-in-law Mary McAskill, Aunt Louise MacLean and many nieces and nephews. Jackie was predecease by his parents Joe and Bertha, brothers Jimmy ,Martin ,sisters Patsy and Marilyn, foster parents Martin and Roma MacDonald Also left to morn is mother-in-law Janice Green, sisters-in-law Eileen Robertson(Allen),Deirdre Green(Jim),brothers-in-law Tom Green, Tim Green(Tina), special niece Bethany Vessey (Jarrod) and their two little boys Nolan and Billy. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Monday, September 23rd, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, September 22nd from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
