John Francis “Regis” Peters

The death occurred peacefully, with family by his side, at Beach Grove Home, Charlottetown, on Monday, November 19, 2018, of Regis Peters, beloved husband of May Peters (nee Beriau), formerly of North Rustico, aged 81. Regis was the loving father of John Peters (Freida) and Maria Dow (Jimmy); and grandfather of Frank, Michael, Izaak, Nathanael and Levi. He is also survived by sisters, Millie Doucette and Geraldine Doucette (Eric); sister-in-law Margaret Peters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Regis was predeceased by his parents, Claude and Alvina (Gallant) Peters; brothers Norbert Peters and Freddy Peters; and bother-in-law, Aubrey “Spic” Doucette. The family would like to express their thanks to the Staff of Beach Grove Home for their compassionate care. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery.
