John Arthur Day

Passed peacefully Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital of John Day of Cornwall, age 78 years. Beloved husband of the late Mae Day, loving father of Penny Bryan (Corey) and Michael Day (Cheryl); cherished grandfather of Melissa and Mathias. John is survived by his brother Robert (Gail - deceased) and sisters - Ruth Wightman (Elliot) and Jane and furry friend Cupid. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Margaret (Lutes) Day. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford. There will be no visitation as per request. A funeral service will be held at the Hillsboro Funeral Home - Stratford Chapel on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place later at the Greenwood Cemetery in Shediac, N.B.
