Ida Margaret (Vessey) Macintyre

Ida Margaret MacIntyre, died on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice after a valiant fight with multiple myeloma, at the age of 76. Ida was the much-loved wife of L. Reginald MacIntyre, mother of Sharon Shimoon (Leonard), Sharlene LaFreniere (Patrick), and RCMP Corporal Shauna MacIntyre. Ida leaves behind five grandchildren: Jessica, Keelia and Conlan LaFreniere, and Talitha and Jonathan Shimoon, all residents of Ottawa. Ida's parents were the late Alvin and Marcella Vessey of Charlottetown. Ida was predeceased by a brother Joe. She is survived by her sister Mercedes Peters and brother Sidney Vessey, (both of Oyster Bed Bridge), sister Camilla Vessey (Victoria) and Mary Vessey (Nova Scotia).
