WATTS, Howard Francis Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, July 9, 2020 of Howard F. Watts of Charlottetown, formerly of Calgary and York, age 94 years. Husband of the late Norma Watts. Loving father of Carla (Roy) Underhill, Glenn (Mary), Paul (Brenda) and Kathy (David), stepson Mark (Tracey) Murray, grandfather of nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Survived by sister Grace Swan and daughter-in-law Mary Watts. Predeceased by his parents Frank H. and Lillie (Dover) Watts, first wife Catherine “Kay” (Nicholson), sister Dorothy (Richard “Dick”) Vessey, brother-in-law Dewar Swan, and grandson Jeffery Watts. Howard worked for Canadian National Railway. In 1981 he moved to Calgary, Alberta, where he was employed with the Corps of Commissionaires at Foothills Hospital and Esso Plaza. He is a Veteran of World War II, where he served with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery, Calgary.
