Harvey ROBICHAUD
ROBICHAUD, Orville (Harvey) It is with great sadness, surrounded by his family that we announce the passing of Orville (Harvey) Robichaud, on January 14th, at PCH, Summerside at 82 years of age. Born on May 19th, 1938 in Tracadie, N.B he was the son of the late Antoine and Emelda Robichaud. Growing up in Askelaneo, Quebec he moved to PEI in 1967 where he worked as a Boiler Maker for 32 years. Harvey is survived by his wife, Shirley (nee Gallant), daughter Sandra Mills (Greg), son Wayne (partner Sabrina Wilkins) and daughter-in-law Velma LeBlanc. Also survived by brothers and sisters; Antonia Finnigan (ON), Edna Doucet (Eric) (NB), Noella Noel (LeoPaul) (St. John, NB), Roderick Robichaud (St John, NB), Denise Noel (Jean Paul – deceased) (Bathurst, NB). He dearly loved his grandchildren, Raquel Wells, Carrie Smith, Ryan Mills, Paige and Julia Robichaud, great grandchildren Alison and Dominic Wells, and Sawyer Racette. Beside his parents he was predeceased by his son Gary (Jacquie), brothers Patrick and Jack, (St John, NB), sister Barb (Tracadie, NB), Alvetta (Charlie) Keary. He was a member of the RCL in Wellington where he enjoyed playing pool, darts and cards. He also travelled with the (5th wheel) Campers going to Blue Grass festivals. Resting at the Evangeline Coop Funeral Home in Urbainville, due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service (by invitation only) will be held on Monday, January 18th. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Harvey, donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Wild Life Society.
