MARTIN, Gerald Joseph (Gerry) 1946-2021 The death occurred suddenly at his late residence, on Monday, January 18, 2021, of Gerald Joseph (Gerry) Martin of Ascension, PEI, age 74 years. Beloved father of Randy J. Martin of St. Albert, AB. Born at Rogersville, NB, on May 12, 1946, he was the son of the late Jacques and Lina (nee Poirier) Martin. Dear brother to Stella (late Anthony) Hachè of Rogersville, NB, and Nicole (Gilles) Hachey of St. Louis, NB. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Paulette, Bernice, Corinna, Daniel, Normand, Laurie, Paul, Denis and Chantale. He was predeceased by a sister Alvina (late Pat) Chaisson of Rogersville, NB. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for private visitation on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral mass on Friday morning for invited guests, from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, at 10:30 a.m., Rev. John Molina officiating. Interment later in the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorials to St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
