Everett James "Ev" Burt

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth hospital on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 of Everett J. "Ev" Burt of Covehead, age 69 years. Beloved husband of Virginia "Jennie" (nee Thorn) Burt and dear father of Everett James "EJ" Burt, Tina Burt and Carrie Jo Burt (Darcy Burke). Also survived by three loving grandchildren, Damian and Brianna Burke and Emrys Burt; brothers and sisters, Frances (John) MacLure, Irene Burt, Don Burt (Jen), Cathy Burt; mother-in-law, Marjorie Thorn; and his special companion Sidney. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Carrie (Myers) Burt. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Friday, then transferred to St. Eugene’s Church, Covehead for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in the Parish Cemetery.
