DOUCETTE, Eva Mary Peacefully at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary on Friday March 27, 2020 of Eva Mary Doucette, formerly of St. Edward aged 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Wilfred (Freddie) Doucette. She was born in Miminegash on August 13, 1933, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Jane (Doucette) Gallant. Loving mother to Joanne MacRae (Martin), St. Edward, Carolann Hustler (Dale), St. Edward, Delores Barnett (Myles), Summerside, Wilfred Doucette (Rachel), Miminegash and Marie Allain (Randy), St. Edward. Cherished grandmother to Mark, Paul, Jody, Mandy, Katie, Jacklyn, Alex, Justin, Seger, Dylan and Kaden as well as 13 great grandchildren. Dear sister to Dill Jones, Miminegash, also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Phyllis Gallant, Alberton, Joan Doucette, Miminegash, Eileen Brown (Frank), St. Louis, Brad Doucette (Alice), Rosebank, Janet Doucette, St. Edward. She was predeceased by parents Joseph and Mary Jane, brothers and sisters Elmer Gallant, Angelina (Fred) Deagle, Edna (Howard) MacCormack, Edward (Delores) Gallant, Leo Gallant, Lena Gallant, Olive Gallant, brothers-in-law Robert Jones, Louis Doucette, sister-in-law Helen (Wilfred) Deagle. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road. Due to the health restrictions currently in place, there will be no public viewing or funeral at this time.
