Eric Eloi LeClair

The death occurred peacefully, with family by his side, at the Garden Home, Charlottetown, on Friday, April 19, 2019, of Eric LeClair, beloved husband of Yvonne LeClair (nee Perry), and son of the late Rodolphe and Josephine “Josie” (Pineau) LeClair, formerly of North Rustico, aged 88. Eric was the father of Darlene Wilson (Steve) and Anne Doiron (Mike); and grandfather of Lyle (Nicole) and Ben. He is also survived by his sisters, Lorraine (Bill, deceased) and Rosella (Rod, deceased); and brothers, Alban and Armand (Gertrude); and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Eric was predeceased by his parents-in-law, Alphy and Henrietta (Arsenault) Perry; sisters, Cecile, Louise, Alma and Julie; and brothers, Pete, Art, Fred, Ed, Vincent and Edmond. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery.
