RAYNER, Dorothy Susan 1920-2019 The death occurred at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary on Sunday, October 13, 2019 of Dorothy Susan Rayner of Cascumpec East aged 99. Dorothy was born in North River, PE on June 17, 1920, daughter of the late Alexander & Mary (Coles) MacLean. Cherished grandmother to Glen Rayner (Kelly) And Jason Rayner all of Cascumpec. great grandson Levi Rayner, step great grandsons Joel, Nick, Zack, Dylan Matthews and sister-in-law Phyllis MacLean. Dorothy is also survived by special nieces Anna Buchanan (John) of OLeary and Rena Pratt (Malcolm) of North River, and nephews Wayne MacLean (Anne) of Riverview NB and Allister (Marlene) Cummings. As well as many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, 1st husband John "Jack" MacDonald in 1963 and her second husband John Rayner in 2000, step son Winston (Lorraine) Rayner, brothers Robert (Edna) and Daniel MacLean and niece Donna MacLean. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Wednesday from 7-9 pm Funeral service on Thursday at 11 am in the Chapel. Interment in Hartsville Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In memory of Dorothy, memorials to O’Leary Community Health Foundation or Gideon’s Bibles would be appreciated.
