Doreen Carrie (nee Farn) Nicholson

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Friday, July 19, 2019 of Doreen Carrie Nicholson, age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Donald Willard Nicholson and loving mother of Allan, Wayne (Sandra), Dale (Noella) and Audrey Duffy (Philip). Doreen will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Lyndsey, Brandon, Donald, Mallory, Marshall and Lily; brothers - Jim, David (Sharon), Charlie (Bonnie), Alfred (Pat), sister - Eddra Colosimo (Warren Boisson), and sisters-in-law - Edith Farn, Vivian Farn, Gwen Brozny and many other family members from the Farn and Nicholson families. She was predeceased by her parents James Henry and Carrie Elizabeth (Forward) Farn; brothers - Joey, John, George and Kenny; sister - Mary Hitsman and sisters-in-law Bev and Lorraine. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation on Monday, July 22, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the Hillsboro Funeral Home - Stratford Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date at the Polly Cemetery in Mt.
