MACLEOD, Donald Calvin The death occurred peacefully with family by his side, at the at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 of Donald MacLeod, beloved husband of Beryl MacLeod (nee MacLeod), of South Granville, aged 81. Donald was the loving father of Heather Luymes (Charles), Elaine Arsenault (Gerald), Mark (Anne) and Dwight (Sonya); grandfather of Kristie (Caleb), Mitchell (Anna), Dayna (Peter), Kayla, Mark and Evan; and great-grandfather of Nora and Lyndon. He is also survived by his sisters, Chrissie Simmons and Jean Pendleton; sisters-in-law, Barbara Sutherland and Grace MacLeod; and numerous nieces and nephews. Donald was predeceased by his parents, John and Lillian (Matheson) MacLeod; sister, Irene; and brothers-in-law, Clayton MacLeod, Gordon Sutherland, Leigh Simmons and Roscoe Pendleton. Resting at Central Queens Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Due to health restrictions currently in place, there will be a private graveside service at South Granville Cemetery, on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. The graveside service will be live streamed on the Central Queen’s Funeral Home Facebook page.
